Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have two great reasons to celebrate! The parents to be will welcome a son and a daughter this spring. Life and Style magazine confirms the news in their latest issue on news stands Thursday.

“It’s all about pink and blue these days,” a friend of the couple tells Life & Style. “It’s truly going to be a dream come true for them. They get a son and daughter.”

As for confirmation, Mariah took to her twitter page (@mariahcarey) yesterday afternoon to tweet about the article. She wrote, “Life & Style mag exclusively confirms that Mariah & Nick are having a boy & a girl! Read the story now @ http://mariah.is/dF2ZyG (MC.com)”
