There’s no beef! That’s according to Mariah Carey. Since rumors swirled the Nicki Minaj would be joining the ‘American Idol’ judging panel there have been talk that the two divas are feuding.
During an interview with MTV News Mariah stated, “How are we gonna feud in two days? A feud takes a little longer to spread out [than that].”
“It’s fun, it’s music, it’s singing, it’s laughter,” she added half heartedly.
Mariah even tweeted this below photo with the caption, “Day 1 group shot with the Idol judges & Ryan!”
On rumors of a feud Ryan Seacrest also added, “Nicki and Mariah, two very different, strong, powerful successful women on the panel — there are not too many dull moments between the two of them. But at the end of the day, we all hug and laugh and go home and get ready for another day,” Tuesday morning on NBC’s the Today show.
He also added, “They get along fine but they’re strong and candid in their opinion.”
Hmmmm sounds fishy. Why didn’t Ryan just say, “there’s no feud”. That answer is a bit suspicious. Perhaps even a good PR move to encourage more gossip and speculation among the two women. A pretty good move if you want people to watch right?!
