Nicki Minaj To Launch Own Fashion Line

Not that we should be surprised, but Nicki Minaj may be gearing up to debut her very own fashion line. That’s so, according to manager Cortex Bryant during a recent phone interview.

Just last year, the “Super Bass” rapper partnered with MAC Cosmetics to release a limited edition, Pink Lipstick, in conjunction with her debut album ‘Pink Friday’. She also has a nail polish collection with OPI set for release later this month and will be sold exclusively at Sephora.

Sounds like Nicki’s is determined to transform all of us into “Barbz”. In fact, this may have been the pop star’s plan all along. According to a recent New York Times article, just before taking the entertainment industry by storm, the rapper was making her own costumes in her basement; many of which she made by hand.

It’ll be interesting to see just how Nicki can make her fashion trends viable to that of the everyday woman? Or maybe she should stick to making costumes for special occasions.
