Nicki Minaj Working On Sophomore Album

Some good music news today. Nicki Minaj is back in the studio working on her sophomore album. The album is expected to drop early next year.

“Nicki’s back in the studio, so we’re looking to drop Nicki in the first quarter,” says Young Money exec Birdman during a recent interview with Billboard.com.

Does this mean the queens rapper will debut some new music this year? “Maybe this year. I don’t know,” Birdman added. “We’re really thinking it out. But she’s in the studio, and we’re looking real soon, because she’s ready to go and we’re ready to go with her.”

I’m very curious to know what this album will sound like. But most importantly, will she deliver another platinum selling album? What are your thoughts, are you looking forward to new Nicki album?
