There’s probably a very good reason Peter Thomas, husband to Cynthia Bailey of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” has been getting so much TV time. We’ve just learned that Thomas may have a reality show spin-off in the works called “Bar One.”
In recent weeks, Thomas has come under fire for being too involved in the wives’ battles. In fact, on this past Sunday’s episode he was insulted by housewife Nene Leakes when she referred to him as a “bitch” or as she later recalled “acting like a bitch.”
Although many criticized his wife, Cynthia Bailey, for not coming to his defense, Thomas expressed he did’t need his wife to come to his aid nor is that the kind of woman he married. And we have to agree. Bailey isn’t known to be the most confrontational or argumentative among the housewives, although she’s had her share of spats. She’s actually, instead, been accused of being passive aggressive by not voicing her opinion or backing down easily when she needed to step up to the plate.
Nonetheless, Thomas’ tactics may all just be a strategic move to garner his very own reality show; centered around his lounge and restaurant, Bar One. We’re sure it wouldn’t hurt getting more promotion and financial backing for the business either. It was previously rumored that the lounge was facing foreclosure. A reality show centered around the business would certainly turn things around.
