If you’ve been tuning in to season 6 of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” then you know things haven’t been so good between husband and wife Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida.
In fact, much of the show has been about Apollo’s inappropriate relationship with fellow housewife, Kenya Moore.
On Tuesday, December 2nd, Phaedra visited TV host Bethenny Frankel on her daytime talk show, ‘Bethenny’, to discuss just that.
Frankel, who knows all too well about how reality television can ruin a relationship, asked Parks about the state of her relationship with Apollo since “Kenyagate”.
Dismissing any claims that there is a strain within her marriage, Phaedra quickly replied with, “As far as me and my husband? Oh, we’re fine.”
Phaedra did go on to say that she felt Apollo was partly to blame for texting and continuing a friendship with Moore after the two ladies had had a fall out. She also admits it’s been difficult to watch the drama unfold each week on the popular reality series.
When asked why she thinks things happened the way that they did, “Because they are two inappropriate people acting inappropriately,” she replied.
On whether she feels texting between any woman and a married man or vice versa is strictly forbidden, Phaedra also clarified her believes on maintaining friends in a marriage.
“I’m not saying that it’s not allowed ever, but when I’m no longer friends with someone, you should no longer be friends with them because we’re a team,” she answered.
Meanwhile, Kenya has continued to claim she’s innocence and hadn’t acted inappropriately at any time with Apollo. She also accuses him of being a liar.
