There may be some bad news for some “Real Housewives of Atlanta” fans.
Following her husband, Apollo Nida’s, conviction and 8 year prison sentence for bank fraud and money laundering, it’s now rumored that Phaedra Parks has opted to take a leave of absence from the popular Atlanta reality show.
According to StraightfromtheA.com, Parks is struggling with the difficult decision on whether she’ll remain married to Nida while preparing to raise two young sons alone while he’s away.
It is perhaps the very reason Parks has considered backing away from the spotlight during this difficult time in her personal life.
The site also adds that Parks may be seen in some earlier episodes of the upcoming season 7, already filmed, but will see her role diminish throughout the season. As for Apollo, he may be trying to come clean about some things, including, what really happened between himself and fellow housewife, Kenya Moore. Did anything inappropriate really happen between the two? It’s believed that Apollo may have stretched the truth a bit and Kenya was telling the truth when she stated that nothing happened and she never pursued him.
Adding more speculation to the madness, it is also rumored that one of the show’s original cast members, Sheree Whitfield, may make a return after exiting in season 4.
