President Obama Speaks On $447B Americans Jobs Act

During a live televised speech, last night, President Obama spoke to members of Congress and to millions of Americans about a $447 billion “Americas Jobs Act” he believes will drive businesses to hire, cut down unemployment and increase consumer for the failing economy.

“The people of this country work hard to meet their responsibilities. The question tonight is whether we’ll meet ours,” Obama said to applause. “The question is whether, in the face of an ongoing national crisis, we can stop the political circus and actually do something to help the economy. The question is whether we can restore some of the fairness and security that has defined this nation since our beginning.”

To say the least, the President delivered a passionate speech urging Congress to “stop the political circus and actually do something to help the economy” by passing this bill.

With ratings at an all time low and constant criticism, Obama’s new proposal may, perhaps, be his last hope in spear heading his 2012 presidential campaign. A campaign many believe he may have to abandon if the economy doesn’t start to show signs of improvement.
