Much like we suspected, Brandy and fiance Ryan Press have called off their wedding. In fact, we’ve now learned that the couple have also ended their two year relationship.
It was the singer’s brother, Ray J, who confirmed the news during his interview with ABC Radio.
When asked what kind of guy he’d like to see his sister end up with he stated, “I’m overprotective so I don’t really care as long as she’s happy. You know?”
“Every guy is crazy. I know I am so I just want to make sure she’s happy and then I got her back — whatever she wants to do,” Ray J continued.
Although he didn’t actually say the two broke up, we think, it’s safe to say Brandy is single again.
The singer and music executive confirmed their engagement in December of 2012. In late 2013, speculation the two had split began after months of no sightings together. And just earlier this year, during the singer’s 35th birthday celebration thrown by her close friends and family, Press was not in sight.
Just one week later, when the singer was asked about the state of her relationship while walking the red carpet of The Essence Black Women In Hollywood event, she refused to talk about the relationship and Press.
The singer has also been spotted ring-less while making recent public appearances.
