Kandi Burruss, seen above wearing a piece from her TAG Boutique, has one more reason to smile. She is getting her very own reality show!
The multi-platinum singer/songwriter has teamed up with Bravo Media to put together ‘The Kandi Factory’.
The show chronicles Burruss as she transforms music hopefuls into “the next big popstar.”
The inspiration for the show came about after Burruss turned fellow ‘Atlanta Housewife’ Kim Zolciak‘s single “Tardy for the Party” into an instant success, prompting many music hopefuls to seek her assistance. Kandi has now decided to take on the challenge, giving aspiring artists a shot at their dream.
As Bravo puts it, in the special, Kandi will give two protégés the opportunity to come to Atlanta and learn the fundamentals of pop music success. She has identified three factors that have to fit perfectly together to create a pop sensation: the song, the look and the performance. Then Kandi and her team of experts at The Kandi Factory will work with the two contestants in order to turn them into music superstars.
Although there is no word yet on whether the show has already started filming, the real question is will we want to watch? We all know the ‘Housewives’ franchise draws in viewers with the high maintenance and drama filled antics of the women on the show. Burruss, on the other hand, is known as the much tamer cast-member that brings a much needed balance to the show. But Burruss by herself? Guess, there’s only one way to find out. We just have to wait and see.
Would you watch Kandi’s reality show?
