While several media outlets have speculated that Chris Brown and longtime girlfriend Karrueche Tran broke up because he was still in contact with his other ex, Rihanna, we’ve now learned, that just isn’t true.
As you may already know, the troubled singer is currently behind bars after getting kicked out of rehab last week (See HERE).
Brown defied three facility rules, including getting close to female residents, that lead to him being involuntarily released. But that’s not why Karrueche pulled the plug on their relationship. In fact, the model is said to have broken up with Brown prior to his alleged rehab fling.
“sources close to the model tell TMZ … she dropped the hammer on their relationship because he refused to stop texting his army of jump offs.”
“Sources tell us … Karrueche saw Chris’ phone during her visit — and it was filled with inappropriate texts from other girls. It was the last straw. We’re told Karrueche was especially pissed because she’d been nothing but supportive to Chris throughout his ordeal, even going to court with him.”
Can we blame her? Rumors have speculated for much of their relationship that the singer has carried on multiple relationships with other women.
In fact, back in 2012 Chris left Karrueche and went back to Rihanna — only to have that relationship end shortly there after. Brown began dating Karrueche again in the Spring of 2013.
Brown will remain in jail for the next month until his DC assault case hearing in April. We wish him the best.
