We’re sad to have learned that a former reality show star is battling cancer. You may all know him as “Real” of “Real Chance of Love” with younger brother “Chance”, but Ahmad Givens is unfortunately battling stage 4 colon cancer.
The unfortunate news was confirmed by singer Ray J who tweeted Wednesday afternoon, “Just talked to “Chance” he told me to tell the world to pray for his bro “Real” he has stage 4 colon cancer! Pls send out a prayer for him!”
Ahmad (photoed right) and “Chance”, real name Kamal Givens (left), were featured on two seasons of their own reality show, “Real Chance of Love”. The brothers earned their own spin-off show following an appearance as contestants on “I Love New York”, the previous year. The brothers had been hand-picked by VH1 producers off their Myspace page to serve as love interest to “Mz New York”, herself, Tiffany Pollard. They were born and raised in South Central/Beverly Hills, California.
The brothers are also apart of a rap group, “The Stallionaire” with another brother, Micah.

*Update*: TMZ.com reports, the 33 year old former reality star is currently being treated at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills.
Back in January “Real” went to the doctor after having flu like symptoms and discovered he had stage 4 colon cancer. Stage 4 usually signifies the cancer has spread to other parts of the body. He will remain in the hospital until doctors are able to come up with an affective treatment to attack the disease.
