Red Carpet: 2011 Kid’s Choice Awards & Academy of Country Music Awards

Award season is in full effect. This weekend showboated two of the most popular award shows, ‘Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards’ & ‘Academy of Country Music Awards’.

While the KCA were held at the USC Galen Center on Saturday (April 2) in Los Angeles the ACM was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (April 3) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

To me these shows are usually a snooze fest but I did pick a few of my best dressed ladies and a gentleman.

Kim Kardashian always delivers. I love this summery look, a frilly white cocktail dress with a plunging neckline paired with wedges.

Keke Palmer has turned out to be such a stunning young lady wearing a black sequined Soltani one shoulder long sleeved mini dress.

And of course the youngest of the Smith clan, Willow & Jaden Smith always fashion forward and not afraid to take chances.

In a surprise collaboration, Rihanna teamed up with Sugar Land’s Jennifer Nettles during their ACM’s performance, performing for the first time Rihanna’s “California King Bed”.

Not so surprising however, Taylor Swift won country music’s ‘Entertainer of the Year’ award.
