By now you may all know that rapper Remy Ma, real name Reminisce Smith, was officially released from Bedford Hills Correctional Facility just a day after her release had been delayed for an incident that occurred back on July 21, 2014.
And Remy is coming back harder than ever! Upon her release, Remy was thrown a welcome home party and even stopped by a recording studio to drop a few bars for a remix on DJ Khaled’s single, “They Don’t Love You No More.”
And Remy did what most celebrities do after being released from prison, make an official announcement via social media of course.
She shared the above image declaring, “I’m around #theRULER’sback”
And again with..
“Thanx 4 all the luv #I’mAround”
And here she is photographed with Khaled in the recording studio.
She adds, “I had a busy first day #ImAround”
Courtesy her husband and fellow rapper Papoose, Remy was gifted with this beautiful cake.
Sharing the photograph of Remy’s cake, Papoose also shared this touching message, “Congratulations to the #Queen happy 2c you walk out that cage!!!!!!!!!! Time 2 begin a new chapter It’s your time. Thanks to @trendytreatzny for the cake #therulersback wish strong was here 2c this #therulersback #therulersback #ripstrong”
The couple is also rumored to be the newest cast members of the upcoming season 5 of popular reality show, “Love and Hip Hop.”
In fact, it may be just what the show needs. Fans and foes have actually been intrigued with the couple’s love story. Despite Remy’s eight year sentence for shooting a former associate for allegedly stealing $3,000 from her, Papoose has stood by her side. In fact, the couple wed while Remy was still incarcerated.
