Following the unfortunate and untimely death of Todd Tucker‘s mother, Miss Sharon, many were eager to learn what his mother-in-law Mama Joyce would have to say.
It is no secret that Joyce, mother to “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss, isn’t a big fan of her son-in-law and has accused him of using her daughter. In fact, during the couple’s wedding reality series the two moms (Joyce and Sharon) faced off defending their children. Mama Joyce even accused Miss Sharon of being a former prostitute.
Now, Mama Joyce is expressing her remorse. She tells TMZ that she is “sorry for attacking Sharon by repeating gossip (which turned out to be false) — and wishes they’d patched things up before Miss Sharon died on Tuesday.” She also expressed her desire to have a better relationship with Todd.
On whether she’ll attend the funeral, however? Mama Joyce says that out of respect for Sharon’s close family and friends she will not attend the funeral but will send flowers.
It’s very unfortunate that it often takes something tragic, especially death, for people to rethink their behavior and act more mature. May Miss Sharon rest in peace.
