Last month, we told you Rihanna‘s grandmother, Clara ‘Dolly’ Brathwaite, 80, had been battling cancer. It was one of the reasons the singer prolonged her European trip and extended her stay in New York City recently. Unfortunately we’ve learned her gran died sometime last night from her battle with the disease.
After learning of her grandmother’s death the singer tweeted, “Goodbye #grangranDOLLY get your beauty rest until I see you”
Surprisingly Chris Brown tweeted about Gran’s loss.
Brown’s mother (Mom Breezy) even sent over her own well wishes to which Rihanna responded.
Nice to see these two are getting along again.
