The Mrs. Carter Show has been pushing along quite nicely since the first show in April. With different wardrobes and outfits, we have gotten to see a few of Beyoncé’s looks thanks to her blog. Earlier today Roberto Cavalli released a sketch of Beyoncé wearing one of his beautiful dresses on her tour.
The photo, like everything the singer does, caused a lot of attention and a little backlash. Some disagree with the sketch being put out because of the lack of curves that Beyoncé has. But if you have watched any fashion design show then you will know that this sketch is the norm. Most designers draw an outlandishly tall and skinny model just so they can give the garment a “bigger than life” look. They know that it is not realistic nor is it meant to be. I believe the dress is gorgeous and Cavalli meant no harm by it. What are your thoughts?

I’m with you JNicole, the backlash was unwarranted. It’s a design sketch for goodness’ sake.

The dress is gorgeous, but I do agree not happy about the fact that they made her look like a twig!!
