It seems like forever that we last saw these ladies on television but ‘Basketball Wives’ is back! Can you believe it’s been five seasons already?

Evelyn Lozada, Shaunie O’Neal, Tami Roman, Suzie Ketcham and newcomer Tasha Marbury will grace our television screens this August. In fact O’neal confirmed a premiere date when she tweeted, “Basketball Wives Season 5 Premieres August 19th on vh1!,” with the above photo attached.

We look forward to seeing the noted change up Shaunie spoke up when asked by a fan on Twitter. The show has been criticized in past seasons for promoting violence on reality television.

    Last season left a bad taste in my mouth, and on top of that they kicked Jennifer Williams off. Not sure if I want to still watch.
