Oh My! Atlanta Sheriff deputies refused to evict a 103-year-old woman and her 83-year-old daughter moments before they were to leave their home this past Tuesday, November 29th, 2011. The moving company hired by the bank also decided not assist in moving the two women out.

The two women have shared the home for 53 years! Just three weeks shy of her 104th birthday, Vita Lee says, “I love it. It’s a mansion.”

Channel 2’s Ryan Young was present at the home to capture the family’s excitement.

It’s nice to see some people still have hearts. The economy has been rough on millions of Americans across the country. It would have been a sad day if these two women were evicted. But I wonder how they bank took the news?!
