‘Singles Ladies’ Finds Their Stacey Dash Replacement

Well, this is refreshing! VH1’s ‘Single Ladies‘ has finally found their replacement for actress Stacey Dash! The new addition to the show will be Denise Vasi. Vasi is better known for her role on former soap ‘All My Children’. Great timing since the show has ended its 31 years run on ABC this past September.

Following the departure of Valerie (Dash), Vasi will play Raquel, a savvy business woman from a prominent southern family who’ll  join Keisha (LisaRaye McCoy) and April (Charity Shea) on their quest for true love and passion.

Although, I’ve never been a huge fan of the show and the acting is questionable, a new face and someone not very well known is a great choice for the show. Many wondered who’d be Dash’s replacement and even threw out a few names including Gabrielle Union, Meagan Good and even Teairra Mari! None, I thought, would have fit the role perfectly. Someone clearly did their homework.

If you all remember, Dash decided to leave the show after the long distance shooting and time away from her children. She believes playing the role of mom to her two children is much more important.

Well, can’t argue with that. Are you pleased with the show’s new replacement?
