Just when you thought the never-ending drama between Dwyane Wade and his ex-wife was over, Siohvaughn Funches drops another bombshell.
This time, the bitter ex is accusing the Miami Heat athlete of not only abusing her but giving her an STD during their marriage, according to Radaronline.com.
Although Dwyane is now engaged to actress Gabrielle Union (See HERE), and had dated for the past five years, he and Funches are still battling it out over the custody of their two boys — unable to reach a final agreement.
In a series of court documents filed by Siohvaughn over the abuse allegations Funches states, “I had known that Dwyane Wade had a temper and could become violent at times. “But when we moved out of my mother’s home … into our own apartment with our infant son, the violence increased. This, however, was just the surface of the domestic violence Dwayne Wade would inflict upon me.”
She later adds, “as Dwyane’s income increased his arrogance and pride increased as well. Dwyane Wade began to call me derogatory names more, throw things at me, hit me, take all my money from me, and even kicked me out of the house causing me not to have a place to live. As a means of controlling me, and as part of Dwyane Wade’s domestic violence pattern, he would often hit me, lock me in rooms and not allow me out, threaten to take my sons from me and frighten me by telling me he knows judges and that they are on his pay roll and he can take the children from me at any time he wanted. The domestic violence and abuse continued on for several years in our family.”
“I tried to leave Dwyane Wade, but when I did, he made sure I did not have access to my own home and he cut off all my bank cards and denied me access to any money,” she continues. “This exerting of power and control has continued to this day.”
In one particular incident she recalls, “He picked up a garbage can made of marble stone and threw it at me. Dwyane Wade picked me up into the air above his head and slammed me down onto a large ottoman with such force that the ottoman broke into pieces when he slammed my body on it and banged my head against a marble bathroom floor. I ended up having to be rushed to the emergency room and spent the entire week hospitalized.”
Funches also notes that during the marriage the athlete continuously cheated on her— resulting in her contracting an STD in 2008.
“The marriage has ended but Dwyane Wade’s abuse has not ceased,” Siohvaughn again claims in the documents, “and through the court system he continues to use his money and influence to exert power and control over me.”

It’s clear Funches is hurt and still hasn’t gotten over the pain she may have endured during the marriage. We wish her well and hope the former couple will have closure, if not for themselves then for the sake of their children.

Shouldn’t she have used this information in the divorce proceeding, seems like it would helped her case more. Now it’s just too late, and the world can see that she’s not quite right in the head, either.
Where are the comments now- Wade and Gabby FANS. I Believed This Lady From the Start. She was just too intellectually intelligent. Sounds like to me he really did have lawyers and judges on his payroll. Coincidentally, Ms Gabby have been with Mr Wade 7yrs while Funches younger son is only 6yrs old. Gabby was just his dream girl and know how to play these industry men. While thinking she’s getting the ring, the house, and Funches kids. Subsequently, Karma bits Ms Gabby because Ms Aje used her beauty ( I mean booty) to invade on her happiness and it’s not over. Wonder why Wade b-ball gaming is aging- he’s not that Old. Their is a God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
