Slowbucks Holds Press Conference, Plans To Sue 50 Cent For Summer Jam Beat Down?

Over the past weekend, rapper 50 Cent made news when it was reported that he was involved in an attack on former associate Slowbucks at the annual Hot 97 Summer Jam concert.

Although we later learned that it was the rapper’s entourage and bodyguards who seemed to have carried out the attack, the rapper did little to diffuse the situation when he proceeded to wear Slowbuck’s stolen chain around his neck for the remainder of his performance that night.

The feud between the two men was ignited when Slowbucks shared an image, via social media, alongside one of 50’s nemesis and rapper, Trav. Also present in the photo was 50’s teenage son, Marquise, who he’s been estranged to.

Slowbucks was said to be attempting to get on stage during the rapper’s set when a group of men attacked him. During the brawl his gold chain was snatched.

A video, that went viral following the attack, would later corroborate these details. We see Slowbucks being attacked and his chain taken. 50 would also later share the below image of himself wearing, what’s believed to be, Slowbuck’s stolen chain.

Fast forward nearly one week later, Slowbucks, with the assistance of his attorney, has begun an investigation of the crime against him and into the part the rapper played, if any.

According to Civil Investgator John P Bostany, he is conducting an investigation on multiple parties involved in assault and chain theft of Slowbucks over the claim of brand dilution. While there is no lawsuit currently in place, Bostany alleges that the motivation for the action was to stop Slowbucks’ brand from being competition:

“They know he is the founder of Slowbucks, the #1 urban brand on the rise today. They want to hurt that brand and they are trying to hurt that brand we are going to put and end to that. We’re here, I’m a Trademark attorney, I’m a copyright attorney and I fight unfair competition”blockquote>
