Back in October, we were shocked to learn that Stevie Wonder, 64, was expecting triplets with his twenty-five year old fiancee Tomeeka Bracy. Although we would later learn that Bracy was not expecting triplets, but was indeed pregnant, we’ve now learned that the couple have welcomed a baby girl.
It was the legendary musician who confirmed the news that he would be a dad again during an interview on The View last month.
At the time Wonder joked, “I got, how many, 22 kids?” before clarifying, “It’s not true. The truth is we’re going to have a wonderful daughter, born in December, [and her] name is going to be Nia, which is ‘purpose.'”
This is the ninth child for the legendary musician and fifth for Bracy, who unfortunately lost a son back in 2004.
The Grammy Award winner was previously married to Syreeta Wright from 1970 to 1971 and Karen “Kai” Millard Morris from 2001 until 2012.
