The ladies of SWV should be very proud of themselves. Their new WE tv reality show, “SWV Reunited,” drew in more than 1.2 million viewers on its premiere night.
The show reeled in 868,000 in adults 18-49, 778,000 adults 25-54, 668,000 women 18-49 and 586,000 women 25-54. The show helped to rank WE tv in the top 10 for the night (Thursday night) among adults and women 25-54 and women 18-49 among all ad-supported cable networks.
The series also garnered the network the #1 slot for a cable network for the night among African American adult women in the 18-49 and 25-54 demographics.
The show joins the Thursday night slot with other WE tv fan favorites including Braxton Family Values, Tamar & Vince, Mary Mary and L.A. Hair.
Of the impressive performance WE tv’s President and General Manager Marc Juris says, “We’re so pleased to kick off 2014 with such an incredible viewer response to our newest original, SWV Reunited.”
“SWV Reunited further solidifies WE tv’s standing as a top cable network on Thursday nights, building on the success of shows like Braxton Family Values, Tamar & Vince and Mary Mary. We are incredibly proud of this show and thrilled it is already resonating with viewers. There is so much more to come this season,” he adds.
The second episode of “SWV Reunited” airs tonight at 10 PM EST. The remaining four episodes will air each week leading up to its February 20 finale.
