T-Boz Files For Bankruptcy (Again)!

T-Boz is broke again ya’ll! I so wish this wasn’t true, but it is.

TMZ has learned that the TLC band mate filed Chapter 11 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court sometime last month.

According to docs filed last month in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, T-Boz (real name Tionne Watkins) found herself owing creditors $768,642.99 — mostly from mortgages on her $1.2 million house.

The docs don’t paint a picture of exorbitant spending — she takes in $11,700/month in income, with monthly expenses totaling $8,821.

TLC had ten top ten singles, four number one singles, four multi-platinum albums, and four Grammy Awards … but according to the docs, T-Boz only pulls in $1,200/month in royalties.

T-Boz might have dodged the bankruptcy bullet if she’d been able to collect the child support she claims she’s owed — which according to the docs is $250,000.

Calls to her attorney were not returned.

This isn’t the first time the singer has faced financial woes. Back in 1995, while at the top of their careers, Watkins along with band mates Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas and Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes file chapter 11, claiming former manager Perri “Pebbles” Reid swindle them out of millions from unfair restraints of their original contract. And since the passing of Lopes in 2001 the many opportunities for remaining members, Watkins and Thomas, have noticeably dwindled.

The now 41 year old has also battled recent health issues steaming from a long battle with sickle cell anemia and a brain tumor back in 2009.

Poor woman can’t seem to catch a break. We wish you all the best T-Boz.
