Tami Roman was rushed to a Houston hospital after fainting on Wednesday (March 26, 2014).
The “Basketball Wives” reality star, passed out after experiencing a dizzy spell and dehydration related to her diabetes diagnosis onset by stress.
According to the YBF, Roman’s publicist released this official statement:
“Tami is rehabilitating at a private hospital in Houston and is expected to make a full recovery. Tami is currently filming two TV shows, traveling back and forth between Houston & Los Angeles so her body became overwhelmed.”
This isn’t the first time the reality star turn actress has had a medical emergency. Almost exactly one year ago she had a mild heart attack onset by much of the same reasons, stress (Read HERE).
Roman has a reality show spin-off, “Roman Empire,” in the works as well as a self-help book titled, “Mistressess 101.” She’ll also co-star alongside Academy Award winning actress Halle Berry in the upcoming TV series, “Extant.” The CBS original series, produced by Steven Spielberg, is expected to make its premiere sometime this summer.
We wish Tami a speedy recovery.

She needs to take care of herself or all of this will be for nothing. Keeping Tami in my prayers, she’s definitely one of my faves.
She needs to take it easy, she trying to do to much right now. I hope all is well at the end of the day.
Wow. Hope she’s okay. She may need to take a break.
