Reality star Tami Roman and boyfriend Reggie Youngblood is going through a difficult time at the moment. The couple has just suffered a miscarriage.
Roman was just three months pregnant when she lost what would have been her and Reggie’s first child together.
It was just one month ago when The Basketball Wives and Marriage Bootcap star announced that she was expecting her third child at 45 years old.
Through a rep the couple shared the tragic news of their miscarriage, earlier in the week, stating that they are “mourning their loss with close friends and family” but don’t plan on giving up.
“I am deeply saddened that after 10.5 weeks, we suffer this loss,” Roman also stated in an exclusive statement to E! News. “We knew this would be an uphill battle. We were up against the odds. I have a prolapsed uterus and am diabetic. I battle bouts of hypoglycemia due to my diabetes and my blood pressure continually ran high. We were prayerful, we had and still have faith. We are not giving up.”
Reggie adds, “This is a tough time for us. It is the worst pain I’ve felt since losing my mother. I want people to understand the sensitivity of this situation. We are hurting and negative comments, don’t help.”
The couple also request “prayers and privacy as they get through this difficult time.”
Roman has two daughters, Lyric and Jazz, from her marriage to former NBA athlete Kenny Anderson.
