At just 22 years old Taylor Swift was named Billboard’s ‘Women of the Year’ Sunday night during their annual award ceremony.

The award acknowledged her many musical achievements; three multi-platinum selling albums and sold out tours, as well as her philanthropic work.

Upon accepting her award Taylor says, “The first time I ever saw my song on the Billboard charts, I was 16 and I was on a radio tour … in a rental car, going to three or four different stations a day and homeschooling in the back seat,” Taylor called upon accepting the award. “That seems like forever ago, thanks to so many people — but mostly my family, everyone who’s helped me get here and the fans. I just love you so much! I’m so humbled and honored.”

I think she’s deserving don’t you? Congrats Taylor!
