Well, that was short lived! But, it’s not like wee didn’t see it coming. The new installment of The Ricki Lake Show not only did not bring in the ratings it was, quite frankly, boring! We still love you though Ricki. After only one season Twentieth Century Fox has cancelled the show.
Although she tried Lake no longer had the spark she exude during her 90’s daytime talk show. And, as we know, day time talk shows don’t have much longevity these days.
Anderson Cooper‘s show, ‘Anderson Live‘, was also cancelled along with British host Jeremy Kyle’s own show. Although he brought lots of spunk, his show just didn’t real in the ratings he had hoped.
Who did make it on to another season, however? Surprisingly Katie Couric and Steve Harvey made it on to another round.
That’s really too bad for Ricki. We were really rooting for her.

This is said, I’m not entirely surprised though. Even when I do happen to notice that her show is on there is always something else on television to watch (Wendy Williams).
Steve Harvey’s show is really good I just haven’t gotten into watching it on a regular bases.
