The Source: “Power 30” Double Issue

The Source Magazine
releases its 13th annual “Power 30” issue with double covers featuring Bryan “Birdman” Williams and Mack Maine of Cash Money/Young Money and the Black Eyed Peas.

“For the better part of 15 years, the Power 30 has been a staple not only for The Source but for those executive figures in and around music, business, entertainment and politics who have been creating and re-defining influence outside of the traditional sense of ‘who made the most money last year,’ but not receiving the recognition from corporate America,” says Rodriguez. “

The exponential growth of Hip-Hop into a billion dollar business has catapulted our executives into the spotlight and made them applicable to any “Power” list. It’s our job to document and give them their due props.”

The top runner for last year’s “Power 30”,  none other than Hip-Hop mogul Jay-Z .  I wonder who’ll take the top spot this year?
