The VMA’s Controversy & Highlights!!

Michael Jackson VMA’s Tribute: Madonna & Janet Jackson! This was definitely the highlight of the night. Unfortunately Kanye’s outburst overshadowed it a bit but it was great nonetheless.

Kanye now’s infamous outburst after Taylor Swift takes home Best Female Video award! What he did was hurtful and disrespectful, period!

Via his blog, kanyeuniversecity.com/blog/, Kanye issued an apology. Here’s what he had to say:

Taylor Swift issued a statement of her own:

“They told me to stand by the side of the stage, and I didn’t really know what was going to go down,” she said. “But I thought it was so wonderful and gracious of her to do what she’s always done. She’s always been a great person before anything else. Before the talented artist, the superstar, she’s always been a great person and I just, I thought I couldn’t love Beyonce more tonight, than tonight.”

Here’s Jay Z and Alicia Keys performing “Empire State Of Mind” when Lil’ Mama made her way up to the stage towards the end! That was another WTF moment of many last night.
