It peaked number 1 in the US, staying there five weeks (the only single to stay atop the charts that long that year), becoming the seventh best selling single of 1999. The single also peaked #1 in Europe and 6 other countries. In the UK not only did the single peak at number 1, but, it stayed there for a total of 24 weeks. The song was also nominated for a Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at in 2000 has sold over 7 million copies, making it one of the best selling singles of all time.
