We honor vintage Lil’ Kim today in the wake of her comeback, on the horizon, and to show fans and foes just why Kim was once the hottest female emcee in the game. No doubt when “No Time” made it’s debut, Kim was at the beginning of her rise and the success of the song suddenly made her one of the hottest commodities in Hip Hop.
It was 1996 when the single made it’s debut as well as Kim’s debut single off her first album, ‘Hardcore.’ It went on to peak at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached the Top 10 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. It also topped the US Rap Songs becoming Kim’s first number 1 hit on that chart. Here’s “No Time”.
You know this is a throwback because it was back when Diddy was still going as Puff Daddy before Puffy, before P. Diddy. Can’t believe it’s been nearly sixteen years!
