Tameka “Tiny” Harris” is best known as a singer from 90’s R$B group, Xscape, turn reality star and wife to rapper T.I., but, she’s making headlines for an entirely different reason today. Tiny recently underwent surgery to permanently alter her eye color from brown to grey and is raising more than a few eyebrows.
On Oct 27th, Harris unveiled an image of herself (above) showing off the new eye color and further elaborated on the procedure. She wrote…

Now, after receiving backlash for having the procedure, she sat down with ABC News’ Deborah Roberts, Thursday morning, to explain the procedure and reasons for doing it.
Of her new eye color Harris says, “They are ice gray. That’s the color I purchased.”
“They go into the eye and they make a little slit,” she explained of the procedure.. “They take an implant and it’s folded up. They open it [and] spread it over your eye. They told me that the procedure was going to be quick, five to 10 minutes an eye,” she said. “They woke me up. It was very blurry, then it kind of fades in.”
“I looked into the mirror and I was like, ‘They are amazing,'” she said. “I love them.”
But what were her husband’s thoughts? “He was like, ‘What are you doing?’ He loves them,” she said. “He’s OK with it as long as I’m healthy and don’t have any problems.”
As for her reasons for undergoing the procedure she adds, “I just wanted to do something different,” she said. “And I have the right to do that. It’s my body.”
