Last week, TLC were involved in some what of a controversy when it was reported that the famous girl group spoke out against pop star Rihanna dressing in barely there attire.
We later learned that the duo hadn’t actually said the singer’s name during an interview with an Australian news team. However, it didn’t stop the singer from blasting the group. Badgalriri even changed her Twitter background image to an old photo of the group, along with the late Lisa Lopes, topless — with just their hands cupping their breasts.
In a new interview, T-Boz and Chilli are discussing what actually happened and their “feud” with the pop star — if we can call it that.
The ladies say that the footage and interview was manipulate to make is appear that they had dissed the young pop star. They explain that they were trying to tell young girls not to let nudity be the only thing you have to offer and a means to be successful in the entertainment industry.
They also explain that their topless photo was actually a campaign to fight against breast cancer.
