Toni Braxton has finally put her grudge against Oprah behind her.
Although the songstress felt Winfrey ridiculed her for her lavished lifestyle when she filed for bankruptcy back in 1998 (the first time around), she’s now partnering up with Winfrey’s network, OWN, for the movie biopic of “My Name Is Love: The Darlene Love Story.”
Braxton will star as the legendary backup singer in “My Name Is Love: The Darlene Love Story” and the subject of the Oscar-winning documentary “20 Feet From Stardom.”
The film will revolve around Love’s long career in the music biz, starting out as the key voice behind Phil Spector’s Wall of Sound hits from the 1960s.
The biopic is scheduled for December.
