While the 57th annual Grammy Awards aired Sunday night, Trey Songz went on a rant against the award ceremony and their shortchange of culture.
After reading what the singer tweeted to his nearly 8.2 million Twitter followers, we couldn’t help but to agree on some of what he had to say.
Here’s what Songz tweeted…
“10 years I been able to feed my family and have the support of so many people, just for doing what I would do anyway for NOTHING. Music…”
“So please, don’t take this next sentiment as salt, shade, envy, etc. The Grammys shortchange culture for popularity every year.”
“I don’t rant, this isn’t that. TRIGGA #1 album “NaNa” “Touchin Lovin” and “What’s Best For You” all #1 on one chart or another. #Grammys ijs…”
“My fans give me the real reward no trophy ever could, LOVE. So everytime they give me nothing, I think of you. Thank you, I love you.”
And in some lighter news, there were also some recent rumors involving the singer with regard to having a child.
Upon sharing the below image, on Monday, Songz’ caption read, “#blessing.”
Some speculated that the singer was revealing, for the first time, that he had had a love child. Well, not so fast.
In one of Songz previous Instagram posts, he actually revealed that the baby boy was his nephew, Aiden.
