*Update* Whitney Houston Death Details And Bobbi Kristina Rushed To Hospital

The world was left stunned Saturday afternoon when news broke that the talented Whitney Houston has passed away at 48. However, not much detail was initially released as to just what led to the singer’s death.

TMZ has learned, Whitney’s lifeless body was found in the bath tub of her Beverly Hilton 4th floor hotel room in Beverly Hills. The same hotel where the annual Clive Davis Pre-Grammy award party was set to take place. It’s now believed, Whitney may have passed from drowning in her tub following a dose of prescription medication.

According to a source, her stylist, hairdresser and two bodyguards were among the people in the room at the time. They became worried when Whitney had been in the bathroom for over an hour and it was time to start getting ready for the Clive Davis party. They began to knock on the door but there was no answer. The hairdresser, a female, then went in to check on Whitney. She immediately screamed and one of the bodyguards came running in and pulled her out of the tub.
The sources also add that Whitney’s face was below the water and her legs were up … like she had slid down the back of the tub.

Hotel security was called into the room who then called 911. When paramedics arrived, shortly there after, around 3:43pm they began to perform CPR. Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55pm (6:55).

Now we’ve gotten word that Whitney’s only child, daughter, Bobbi Kristina was rushed to LA’s Cedears-Sinai Hospital. She was rushed from the same hotel her mother was pronounced dead. It appears to be her second trip with the last 24 hours.

Bobbi Kristina became irate last night when she was turned away from seeing her mother’s body. She got into a shouting match with police officers outside the hotel room where her mother was found dead.

Witnesses say she was “hysterical, exhausted and inconsolable.”
