Usher’s Step-Son Kyle Glover Brain Dead After Jet Ski Accident

Some very tragic news today. Usher has rushed to the aid of ex-wife Tameka Raymond following a tragic jet ski accident of step-son Kyle Glover.

Kyle, 11, the son of Tameka and first husband Ryan Glover, has been declared brain dead by an Atlanta hospital following a jet-ski accident Saturday, July 7th.

TMZ reports, Glover had been sitting in an inner tube on Lake Lanier when he was hit in the head. He was unresponsive once taken out of the water and was taken to a nearby hospital almost immediately.

Although initially listed in critical condition, the young boy was declared brain dead earlier this evening.

Following the news of Kyle’s accident, Usher chartered a plane for his estranged wife, out of town at the time, to rush to her son’s aid. Although the two have been in a bitter custody battle these past several months for their own two (and youngest) sons, the singer has remained by Tameka’s side through this very difficult time.

At the time of the accident, a teenaged girl, who had been in the tube with Kyle, was also severely injured and rushed to the hospital. She suffered a broken arm and a laceration to the head. An investigation is underway.

The family have yet to decide whether to take Kyle off life support.

This story in very tragic and unfortunate. No parent should ever have to bury their child. We keep Tameka and her family in our prayers.
