Will & Jada Pinkett Smith Celebrate 16th Wedding Anniversary In Dubai

Happy Anniversary to Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith. The couple just celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary, on New Years Eve, while in Dubai for the holidays.

Despite much speculation, this past year, that the couple’s marriage was in trouble and they were headed for divorce (See HERE), clearly those reports were wrong.

The couple were even joined by actor and singer Tyrese Gibson and RnB crooner Maxwell, both photoed with the couple above.

It was Mrs. Smith who shared this message with her fans.

This year has started with much reflection and gratitude considering the holidays has had its share of loss. This New Year’s Eve, I celebrated my 16th wedding anniversary in Dubai. Those 16 years meant a hell of a lot considering I was not allowed to forget how short life truly is. I want to thank Tyrese, Maxwell and all our friends in Dubai for creating such an exuberant celebration for our anniversary. It meant everything.

I’m wishing you all happiness, prosperity and most importantly…thee experience of deep love.

Unfortunately, it was also the day Smith lost his friend and actor, James Avery, who played the beloved “Uncle Phil” on 90’s sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”

Of the lost Pinkett-Smith wrote, “Happy New Year everyone! I was hoping to start the new year differently but we have lost yet another friend. James Avery who we all lovingly know as Uncle Phil from The Fresh Prince has passed.”

“Our condolences to aunt Florence (his mother), Miss Barbara (his wife) and all those who loved him. Rest in peace James,” she concluded.

Tyrese Gibson, who was also celebrating his 35th birthday in Dubai, shared several more photos of himself, Maxwell and Will.

It was Gibson who shared the above image noting, “Yup…, it’s happened DUBAI Will Smith and lovely wife Jada and and @maxwell sung happy birthday to ya boy!!!! Will Smith is in Dubai this town will never be the same…. I got my #Family here!!! Wooooooow!!!!!”
