Fellas if you’re reading this then there may be some hope for you. Meet Sarah, she just wired $1.4 million to a man she’s never met.
Sarah, a two-time divorcee, met Chris Olsen online 18 months ago and fell in love.
She reveals that they talk on the phone daily and despite criticism that he’s a scam artist, she believes that what they have is real.
She admits, however, that his “Italian accent” has noticeably changed.
Olsen told her that he is originaly from Milan, Italy but now lives and works in South Africa. He also tells her that he is a widower with two daughters and has worked in Nigeria and Benin.
She told Dr Phil: “I have questioned several times whether or not this is a scam.”
“I am 95 per cent certain that Chris is telling me the truth,” she adds.
“That this is legit.”
During the time they’ve met, Chris has also asked Sarah for money on several occasions, totaling $1.4 million, for troubles including stolen credit cards, calling cards, hotel fees, lawyers, a nanny and an expired Visa.
