Signs-Its-Time-to-Break-Up-End-Relationship

It’s no secret that relationships can be hard. We often try our best to make them work, but, sometimes it’s even harder to know when to let them go. Here are some clear signs you may need to walk away from your current relationship.

1. You No Longer Feel Loved:
Why be in a relationship with someone you feel no longer loves you? Falling in love with someone is a beautiful and precious experience, but, that love has to be reciprocated. No two people love the same but you need to know you’re both in it for the long hall and it is not a one-sided deal. Unless your relationship was a business arrangement why even waste your time?

2. You Can’t Trust Your Partner:
Having trust in your relationship is very important. You need to know that even when you’re not with your mate you can trust that they will make the right decisions that won’t put your relationship in jeopardy. You need to know that they are trustworthy and there’s no reason why you should have to question their intentions. They do what they say they’ll do and mean what they say with the best intentions. In order to have trust in your relationship, you must also be honest with each other. You or your mate won’t always like what the other has to say but two mature adults who value trust and honesty will be open and understanding of each other.

3. You’re Not Respected:
Much like trust, without respect your relationship is already on shaky grounds. It is necessary for there to be mutual respect between both parties. Relationships are hard as it is but even in the stressful of situations there has to be a level of trust and understanding between the two of you that lets you know there’s a line that shouldn’t be crossed and never will be. Because no two relationship is alike, it will be up to the parties involved and invested in the relationship to map out what those lines are and how to not cross them.

4. You’ve Outgrown Each Other:
Someones you can simply outgrow a person and a relationship. The hardest part sometimes is that no ill-will or wrong has been done to either party, it’s just time to move on. These can be the hardest of situations because you may be left confused and without a precise reason for why the relationship ended. What you wanted ten years ago most likely won’t be the same thing you want today. You may be ready for marriage and children and your mate may not be. You may be very ambitious and your mate may be content with the same mediocre position they’ve had for the last five years. Although not devastating, these differences can sometimes make or break a relationship and it’s just time to move on.

5. Your Mate Is Abusive:
There’s no reason why you should be in an abusive relationship. Abuse is wrong, period. Abuse isn’t just physical. It can also be mental, emotional and verbal. If you’re involved with someone you cannot trust will make the right decisions, who will respect you, take your feelings into consideration and is concerned about your well-being, that is not a relationship you want to be in. That is a clear sign the relationship and your mate is toxic. Never sell yourself short. Like I previously mentioned the love you have for your mate should be reciprocated. Someone who truly loves you wouldn’t put your life and health in danger. Instead of thing in terms of “I love him/her,” ask yourself, “Does this person love me the way I want or need to be loved?” If the answer is ‘no,’ let it go! You’re worth far much more than settling for less.
