50 Cent just caught a break in his domestic violence charge involving ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy.

Although the rapper was charged with assault for the incident that occurred back in June, he will not be serving any jail time.

Joy, the rapper’s alleged second baby mama, although never officially confirmed (see HERE for details), accused 50 of kicking her and vandalizing her home when an argument erupted between them.

According to the police report, police were called to the residence of Daphne Joy when the rapper allegedly kicked her door down and entered her home. She alleges the rapper broke her chandeliers, furniture, a TV and a lamp during his tirade, raking up $7,000 in damages.

Thankfully for the rapper, after making a plea deal with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office, he was able to plea no contest to a misdemeanor charge of vandalism (involving the damaged door owned by the landlord of the residence) and will pay for all other damages that occurred during the incident. This includes $7,100 in restitution and $2,390 in fines.

He’s also been sentenced to three years probation and 30 days of community service.
