The 86th Academy Awards aired Sunday night and was hosted by comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. Although there were many highlights during the ceremony we’re all still talking about the fashion hits and misses during the red carpet arrivals of some of the best actors and actresses in the business. Let’s have a recap shall we?
The always stunning and elegant Lupita Nyong’o in this beautiful eggshell blue gown. She can never disappoint in our opinion.
Our fave couple, Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith looked amazingly handsome while making their red carpet arrival.

Another fave couple of ours, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie looking like classic old Hollywood. The looks were simple but still glamorous.
Although we think Kerry Washington looks beautiful pregnant this gown did nothing for her or her cute bump. Unfortunately, this wasn’t one of our faves.

Love love love Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corrine. The proud dad shared the image of himself and daughter during their arrival.
The proud papa shared this second image while helping his daughter walk in her gown. We so love their relationship. She’s absolutely stunning by the way.

Unfortunately, we can’t say the same for Pharrell or his wife Ellen. Although the duo are known for taking fashion risks we wished he didn’t wear shorts and that Ellen had instead worn a gown instead.
Entertainment news correspondent and television personality Rocsi Diaz. We’re not quite sure about the gown but she managed to pull it off nicely.
America’s sweetheart can do no wrong Ms. Sandra Bullock looked so beautiful and elegant. Enough said.
Viola Davis looking stunning, though we think the dress may have been a bit “Gone With the Wind.”
