After suffering two life threatening seizures last week, Lil’ Wayne, was officially discharged from Cedars Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood, on Monday.
Lil Wayne, real name Dwayne Carter, spent six days in the medical center, primarily in the intensive care unit.
As we reported on Friday Lil’ Wayne was rushed to the medical center after a bodyguard found him unconscious and shaking in his hotel room. The seizure, the second that week, is believed to be onset by a sizzurp binge. Following the announcement he was in bad shape and near death Wayne event sent out a tweet thanking fans for their support but that he was doing good. “I’m good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love,” he tweeted.
His mentor, “father” and fellow rapper Birdman alleges, however, that the seizure was not as a result of any drugs during a recent interview with Hot 97. Of Wayne’s release he also tweeted, “God Bless.my son just release frm hospital.thanks 4 all tha luv.YMCMB.Richgang”.
However, fans and foes are having trouble believe the rapper is not on drugs and that he doesn’t need help.
We keep him in our prayers.
