Ja Rule is finally out of jail. The rapper was released from prison this morning after serving nearly two years behind bars.
Ja Rule, real name Jeffrey Atkins, was released from Ray Brook Federal Prison in New York this morning and headed straight home to greet his family, TMZ reports.
Although he was initially slated to be released on July 28th, he’ll likely remain on house arrest until then.
