Just when you think things couldn’t get any worse, Lamar Odom, has just been arrested for DUI.
The troubled NBA player was arrested at approximately 3:54 this morning in San Fernando Valley for driving under the influence.
According to TMZ, “Lamar — who was driving a white Mercedes SUV — was popped by the California Highway Patrol and taken to a nearby station, where he was booked and is being held on $15,000 bail.”
The site also reports, “He was pulled over on the 101 Freeway for going too slow — 50 MPH. Cops say Odom had been driving in a ‘serpentine manner.'”
Lamar then continued driving for another 3 exits before coming to a full stop — showing signs of being intoxicated.
He also failed several sobriety tests before being taken to a county jail.
This is yet another bump in the road for the athlete whose rumored to be addicted to crack cocaine. In fact, his substance abuse may be what’s causing his marital woes with wife Khloe Kardashian. It’s also said to be the reason he just lost out on a contract with the Los Angeles Clippers!
The speculation has been much of the talk this past week. Unfortunately for Lamar, it’s beginning to appear the rumors are true.
We hope Lamar will be able to get his act together really soon.
