Kerry Washington has just been named as the new face and spokesperson of Neutrogena.
Not only is Washington the new face of the beauty and skincare line, she’s also the first celebrity to become a creative consultant.
Of the news Washington tweeted, “So thrilled to get started as #NTGSpokesperson & #creativeconsultant. I can’t wait to take you all on the journey w/me!”
She also tells People.com, “I never wanted to partner with a company where I felt like I was losing myself and my sense of authenticity. This is really about working with a company I respect and admire.”
Here’s an image the ‘Scandal’ actress also shared with fans on social media, presumably, at the Neutrogena headquarters.
Other famous actresses to have endorsed the skincare line includes Gabrielle Union, Hayden Panettiere and Jennifer Garner.
You can expect to see Washington appear in some of the line’s newer ads as early as Spring 2014.
