Less than a month ago, Chris Brown announced he was checking into rehab to finally address his anger management issues. The announcement came right after his arrest and release following a fight with an unknown man in Washington DC.
At the time, the singer explained he needed to “gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior…” It seems, that didn’t last very long.
On Thursday, Brown’s rep, Nicole Perna, confirmed news that the singer had left the rehab center. She adds he “is continuing his rehab program as an outpatient and is completing his community service in the Los Angeles area.”
Perna also adds that the singer appreciates his fans’ encouragement and support.
Brown, still on probation from his 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna, was given an additional 1,000 hours of community service, over the summer, when questions arose on whether he fully complied and completed them the first time around.
The singer is due back in court, on November 20, for a probation hearing.
