On Tuesday, we reported that rapper Young Jeezy, real name Jay Jenkins, had been arrested and fined for assaulting his teen son, Jadarius, during an altercation back in September 2012. Now, the rapper would like to clarify on what happened and who he thinks is at fault.
Jeezy said he never assaulted, imprisoned or made any terroristic threats to his son as previously reported. Although he admits he and his teen son did have an argument in September 2012, he said things did not get violent. He did, however, admit to shoving Jaradius around when he advised him he could no longer live at his residence for his unruly behavior.
According to TMZ…
The rapper and his 17-year-old son Jadarius did indeed get into a nuclear argument in Sept., 2012, but it never turned really violent. We’re told it started when Jeezy told the teenager he had turned into a punk kid with an attitude and he didn’t want the kid staying at his house.
Our Jeezy sources say Jadarius became belligerent and the two starting screaming at each other. Jeezy claims he never hit, choked, or dragged his son, but admits he shoved him to the ground when Jadarius got in his face.
As for the terroristic threats the rapper allegedly made telling Jadarius, “I will kill you … I will put a bullet in your head right now,” the rapper insists he made no such comments but instead said something to the effect of, “I brought you into this world and I can take you out of it.”
The site also claims that Jadarius’ mother, Tenesha Dykes, may be the culprit in the matter — “brainwashing the son against his dad” in an attempt to get more money out of the rapper.
We hope the rapper and son will be able to resolve their issues soon.
